A qualified Agricultural Scientist turned Insurance and Financial Services Professional, Lorraine is not only the co-owner of WebInsure Pty Ltd, but also its operational backbone, quietly steering the business, team, and client experience toward long-term success.
Known within the company as “the skipper that keeps the boat on course,” Lorraine blends sharp analytical thinking with calm, unshakeable leadership.
From the Paddock to Professional Advice
Lorraine began her career in Moree, NSW, working hands-on in the field as an Agricultural Scientist, where she developed a strong foundation in risk management, rural operations, and regional business dynamics—skills that would later prove invaluable in insurance.
In 1999, the Sampson family made a pivotal move to Toowoomba, a decision driven by a desire to give their children greater opportunities without sending them to boarding school. Soon after, Lorraine joined the family business that would evolve into WebInsure Pty Ltd.
Building from the Ground Up
Lorraine started with WebInsure in 2000, immersing herself in the insurance world and rapidly gaining the knowledge and qualifications to support clients at a professional level.
